"Since self-isolation started, I've felt caged in at times. Having five other family members in the same average-sized house with me the entire time doesn't help. Sometimes, it feels like climbing into a shower, and staying there for two months. To fully represent this, this song is divided into three parts. The first part is the emotions felt in the time leading up to self-isolation, the trepidation of the upcoming events. A shower is turned on, and I climb in as a strange primal urge to escape begins to take over. The second part is the self-isolation. Naturally, this is much longer than the other two parts. The shower is in use, and dread and desire to leave take over. Almost everything is distorted beyond the point of recognition, and the only thing possible to focus on is the shower itself. The third part takes place in the future, where the shower is turned off, representing the freedom of self-isolation and the ending of the ongoing pandemic. It is much shorter than the rest of the song. While there's a fantastic celebration when self-isolation ends, there's a foreboding sense that the worst is yet to come." - 19_Cakes
